Whatever that sort of watery instrument is at the end of the Soundcloud version, he takes it out and puts the trumpet there instead When the beat drops out it's a lot more involved on the tape, like it might reverse or the drums will drop out selectively, on Soundcloud if he drops the beat it just repeats or gets pitched down The album adds a kind of mournful backing trumpet during the chorus, also Mac's voice has a kind of ping-pong delay and Vince Staples (it sounds like) is somewhere in there saying "I'm a dead homie" or something like thatĪt the beginning of the second verse, the beat gets chopped up and reversed and some other stuff
The drums drop out on some parts on the tape ("how do the famous fucntion") where on the Soundcloud they go all the way through Also the 808 was turned down and cleaned up with some audio magic The 808 is taken out of some parts, like there's no 808 on the first part of the first verse on the tape. The levels of the drums are messed with, so the hi-hat is a lot quieter and some of those grating highs from Soundcloud were EQ'd out, also sounds like the attack on the hi-hat sample might have been increased
The intro ad-libs have some delay and reverb on them that they didn't have on Soundcloud, and are bandpassed so you mostly hear the mids and it sounds a little tinnier
